About the Event

What is the
Unity Cup?

The Unity Cup is envisioned as a community-centred football tournament and outreach event linked to Tamawuta Foundation's Women and Youth in Sports Empowerment (WYSE) initiative. It uses the appeal of football to bring together young people, families, schools, community leaders and partners while spotlighting new opportunities in sport and wellbeing.

Its purpose goes beyond winning a trophy. The event is intended to introduce the WYSE vision, encourage talent development, strengthen community relationships and deliver practical support alongside football activities.

The Unity Cup brings football and community purpose together. Led by Tamawuta Foundation, with Blue City FC as technical football partner and Kasha FM as media sponsor, this two-day event aims to celebrate local talent, promote inclusion and introduce the wider WYSE mission.
